The annual Southwestern Economics Association, SWEA, meeting is held in association with the Southwestern Social Sciences Association.

Submission and Paper Guidelines:

I would like to invite you to submit your manuscript for publication in the Southwestern Journal of Economics (SWJE). The SWJE is a referred Journal published by the Southwestern Economics Association, an affiliate of the Southwestern Social Science Association.

Let me remind you that a manuscript submitted for publication should not be presently under review for publication or published by the Social Science Quarterly or elsewhere.

Submissions

* When you submit a manuscript for review, please submit 3 copies plus the $25.00 submission fee.

* A decision will be made as to whether the manuscript is accepted or not within four (4) weeks of the date it is received.

Accepted Manuscript

* A $12.50 per page fee is charged when the final manuscript is submitted for publication.

* Manuscripts should be typed single-spaced on standard 8-1/2x11 paper on one side using Times New Roman font (12 for main text, 14 for major headings, and 8 for footnotes).

* All manuscripts should be submitted on a 3.5 diskette saved in MS word 6.0 or higher format (DOS version).

* Send diskette and one hard copy to:
