92ND ANNUAL MEETING

 IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE
SOUTHWESTERN SOCIAL SCIENCES ASSOCIATION

 GENERAL THEME:

 “Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity: Striking Gold in the Social Sciences”

Abstracts for selected papers and proposals for paper sessions for the 92nd annual meeting of the Southwestern Economics Association are now being accepted.  Abstracts of single papers in all areas of economics are welcome and must be submitted through this association’s website.  Paper abstracts should contain study objectives, methodology and results/expected results at the minimum.  Papers presented at the meeting may be submitted for publication in refereed journals, the Southwestern Journal of Economics and the Social Science Quarterly.  Graduate and undergraduate students are especially encouraged to submit abstracts for paper presentation. Cash prizes are awarded for outstanding undergraduate and graduate papers.  Proposals for full sessions may be submitted to the Program Chair by e-mail.  Session proposals should contain names and addresses of presenters, titles of papers, and an overview of likely audience.  To guarantee consideration, please submit paper abstracts and session proposals by November 2, 2011 and participants must register for the meeting.
